Jumbo water beads are approximately 5 – 8 times the size of regular water beads. They are around the size of a pea prior to being soaked. Once expanded they vary from the size of a golf ball to the size of a tennis ball! This process takes 24 – 48 hours. In some cases the super absorbent polymer can break apart, so please do not expect every single bead to be a perfect sphere. All jumbo water beads are like this.
